About Me

Deborah Barile is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. She maintains a private practice in two Chicago neighborhoods -- Michigan Ave and Ukrainian Village -- and is accessible all over the country via phone sessions.

With more than 30 years experience as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and as a graduate of University of Dayton specializing in Addiction , Relationships , and Clinical Hypnotherapy , she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Deborah has presented lectures for academic, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, speaking on the topics of Eating Disorders, Domestic Violence, and Addiction Recovery. She is also a certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor .

Deborah is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
